Minerva was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Grubb. She married Andrew J. Tharp Nov 24, 1870 in Brownsville, Cass Co, Michigan. After Andrew died in May 1886, she married James Halloway Gregg July 24, 1890 in Brownsville, Cass Co, Michigan.
