Lula was the daughter of James Henry Lankford (1852 - 1918) & Miranda Catherine Enlow (1856 - 1924). She married Bert Grider in 1902 in Harwood, Champaign, Illinois. They were the parents of Everett, Goldie, Lloyd, Edna, Raymond, and Eugene.
