Sarah Hemmersbach, daughter of Adam Hemmersbach and Elizabeth Zimmerman, was born Feb.14, 1882 in Hanna City, Peoria Co., Illinois and died Jan. 18, 1966 in Leon, Decatur Co., Iowa. She married Deldros "Dee" Starkey Feb. 5, 1902 at Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born May 29, 1879 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Elijah Starkey and Mary Jane Cranston, and died July 31, 1948 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
