Lillian Nina Cassat, daughter of David Williams Cassat and Lillian May Berryhill, was born Feb. 19, 1899 in Hazelton Twp., Buchanan Co., Iowa, and died Dec. 22, 1971 in Grinnell, Poweshiek Co., Iowa. She married Philip Hamblin Smith Aug. 6, 1924 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
