Claude Howard Thompson, son of Elmer Clarence Thompson and May Belle Wells, was born June 14, 1909 in Ross Twp., south of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died December 5, 1983 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Elfie Margaret Duncan December 17, 1930 at Osceola, Clarke Co., Iowa. She was born December 25, 1910 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Orie Emmett Duncan and Bessie Walkinshaw, and died Dec 24, 2004 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
