Lela Mae Dowell, daughter of Joseph Thomas Dowell and Viola Jane Allison, was born June 5, 1901 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Sept. 25, 1968 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Clyde Vernon Snyder Jan. 21, 1922 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. Clyde Vernon Snyder, son of John Hamilton Snyder and Jennie Gatewood Varner, was born July 31, 1894 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 3, 1944 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
