Clyde Vernon Snyder, son of John Hamilton Snyder and Jennie Gatewood Varner, was born July 31, 1894 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 3, 1944 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. He married Lela May Dowell Jan. 21, 1922 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
