Bertha V. Nemier, daughter of John W. Nemier and Anna Pocwaska, was born Aug. 3, 1896 in LaCrosse,LaCrosse Co., Wisconsin and died Aug. 23, 1939 in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri. She married Leslie Emmert Briggs Dec. 25, 1916 in Manzanola, Otero Co., Colorado.
