Lelan Risser, son of Ulysses Senator Risser and Minerva Rowe, was born May 20, 1898 in Nodaway Co., Missouri and died Mar. 25 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. He married Lola Pearl Townsend July 30, 1917 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born May 3, 1900 in Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Edward Clark Townsend and Nettie Mae Matheny, and died May 28, 1997 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
