Patrick Henry Pierce was born May 18, 1835 near Denmark, Lewis Co., New York and died Mar. 6, 1913 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He enlisted in Co. C, 42nd Illinois Infantry Regiment Aug. 10, 1861 and was mustered out Sept. 17, 1864.
