John Osburn, son of James Osburn and Elizabeth Africa, was born Aug. 13, 1821 in Huntington Co., Pennsylvania and died Sept. 14, 1910 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Jane Proudfoot April 26, 1849 in Pennsylvania.
