Mary Jane Cashman, daughter of George Cashman and Rebecca J. Murphy, was born Aug. 30, 1834 in Clinton Co., Ohio and died Aug. 17, 1906 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married John Jasper Laws Sept. 9, 1852 at Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois.
