James Clifton Hanshaw, son of Carr Clifton Hanshaw and Catherine Rebecca Walker, was born Mar. 8, 1917 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died May 25, 2003. He married Marjorie Elizabeth Renfro Nov. 15, 1937 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. She was born Nov. 16, 1917 in Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Jesse Taylor Renfro and Verna Ellen Owens, and died May 16, 1972 in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.
