John Thomas Neely, son of William Neely and Sarah Jane Curry, was born Jan. 17, 1863 in Monongahela Co., West Virginia (his obituary gives the year as 1862)and died Oct. 10, 1941 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Sarah Lucinda Coffman Aug. 26, 1891 in Schuyler Co., Missouri.
