Inscription: E. W. Laird died Jan. 23, 1894 Aged 65 years
Edward William Laird, son of Jesse Laird and Mary Tharp or Thorpe, was born in 1829 in Dearborn Co., Indiana and died Jan. 23, 1894 in Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Helen Yateman Aug. 8, 1866 in Dearborn Co., Indiana.
