Cresap Singleton Jones, son of Elias William Jones and Ruth Cresap Singleton, was born Jan. 1, 1858 in Johnson Co., Iowa and died Jan. 4, 1937 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Ella Katherine "Kate" Rutledge April 8, 1883 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Sept. 22, 1860 near Somerset, Perry Co., Ohio, daughter of William Edward Rutledge and Louisa Ann Biggs, and died Jan. 3, 1957 in Murtaugh, Twin Falls Co., Idaho.
