Pearl was the daughter of Fletcher and Lucinda Perkins. She married William Hested on 18 Nov 1894 in Lake City, Calhoun, Iowa. They were the parents of Hazel, Wayne, James, Ruth M, John Joseph, Edna, Robert, and William Dale.
