Francis Marion Humphrey, son of John Henry Humphrey and Delina Beekman, was born Dec. 23, 1853 in Pike Co., Ohio and died May 31, 1934 in Creston, Union Co., Iowa. He married Samantha Elizabeth Jones Jan. 30, 1881 at Anderson, Madison Co., Indiana. She was born Oct. 11, 1861 in Madison Co., Indiana, daughter of George and Caroline Jones, and died April 1, 1939 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa.
