Alice Susan Chaney, daughter of Charles Edwin Chaney and Minnie Richards, was born April 3, 1903 at Carbon, Adams Co., Iowa and died Mar. 17, 1934 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Mo. She married John Andrew Hargin Feb. 23, 1922 at Creston, Union Co., Iowa. He was born April 2nd, 1885 in Holt Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Noble Hargin and Jessie Esplin, and died May 19, 1951 in Creston, Union Co., Iowa.
