Irene Garland Borden, daughter of Alfred Fernando Borden and Georgia Mae Ditto, was born Dec. 22, 1914 in Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 13, 1984 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. She married Carl Leon Gold June 4, 1932 in Atchison Co., Missouri.
