Rachel Arlene McCurdy, daughter of Max McCurdy and Chloris Matheny, was born April 23, 1926 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa and died July 23, 2009 in Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa. She married Gail Eugene Fitzhugh Aug. 6, 1947 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Aug. 6, 1925 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Roy Monroe Fitzhugh and Leona Mae Murray, and died May 3, 2010 in West Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
