Minnie immigrated in 1871. She was the daughter of Hantz Sorensen and Mary Wilson. Minnie married John W Butrick on 24 February 1887 in Kossuth county, Iowa. They were the parents of William O., Roy, Carrie, Louise, and Annabelle. She married 2nd Charles Havens on 27 March 1905 in Lake City, Calhoun, Iowa. They did not have children.
