Frank Gilpon Ecklin, son of John Edwin Ecklin and Emily Rachel Cochran, was born Oct. 15, 1887 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Jan. 15, 1947 near Clearfield, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Myrtle Ruth Slattery Feb. 19, 1911 at Diagonal, Ringgold Co., Iowa.
