Joseph Edwin Cooper, son of Albert James Cooper and Margaret Carnahan, was born Nov. 9, 1888 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Aug. 7, 1958 in Mt. Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa. He married Mary Jane Hargin Feb. 5, 1913. She was born Oct. 19, 1888 in Holt Township, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Noble Hargin and Jessie Esplin, and died Nov. 18, 1957 in Mt. Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa.
