Silas Usher Keith, son of James S. Keith and Angeline "Amanda" Null George, was born Feb. 16, 1863 (his obituary gives the date as 1862) in Licking Co., Ohio and died Aug. 29, 1919 east of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Jane John Jan. 6, 1889 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Jan. 23, 1870 in Ross Twp., southwest of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Christopher Columbus John and Nancy Catharine Ensminger, and died Nov. 23, 1957 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
