John R. Cooper, son of William Cooper and Hannah Picker, was born Mar. 28,1851 in Erie Co., New York and died Aug. 4, 1930 at Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Fannie Young in Nov. 1876 in Lee Co, Illinois. She was born in Jan. 1858 in Kankakee Co., Illinois and died April 5,1936 in Muscatine, Muscatine Co., Iowa.
