Olin Clyde Thummel, son of Frank Charles Thummel and Alice Elma Butts, was born Oct. 16, 1915 in Taylor Co., Iowa and died June 1, 1961 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. He married Virginia Jane Kennedy Dec. 24, 1941. She was born Feb. 10, 1924 in Cushing, Howard Co., Nebraska, daughter of Fred Kennedy and Margaret Faye Simons, and died Nov. 4, 1995 in Camanche, Clinton Co., Iowa. Her 2nd husband was Ralph Jay Nash whom she married Dec. 19, 1970 in Grinnell, Poweshiek Co., Iowa.
