Clarissa Shotwell, daughter of John Shotwell and Mary Stevens, was born Dec. 24, 1805 in Clermont Co., Ohio and died Sept. 8, 1891 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Asa M. Church Sept. 2, 1824 in Clermont Co., Ohio.
