Mary Susan McMurtry, daughter of Francis Marion McMurtry and Elizabeth Pitman, was born Aug. 27, 1852 near Galesburg, Knox Co., Illinois and died Oct. 16, 1938 in Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Joseph Adam Bruner Dec. 12, 1871 in Knox Co., Illinois.
