Elton Cecil Bruner, son of William Frank Bruner and Rebecca Ellen Grubb, was born Sept. 6, 1895 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Mar. 2, 1966 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. He married 1) Myrtle Ruth Hogg Dec. 15, 1915 at Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa and 2) Ethel Clara Carmichael Lambley Jan. 3, 1948. She was born May 27, 1888 in Nodaway Co., Missouri, daughter of John Ransom Carmichael and Mary Elizabeth Burch, and died Dec. 1, 1972 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. Her 1st husband was Thomas Eli Lambley whom she married Nov. 6, 1918 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
