David Anderson Brown, son of David A. Brown and Sarah Litton, was born Aug. 21, 1842 in Owen Co., Indiana and died Feb. 29, 1916 in Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Martha A. "Mattie" Freeman April 6, 1865 in Owen Co., Indiana.
