Gideon Wieser, son of Jonathan Juni Wieser and Hannah Lydia Henninger, was born Feb. 7, 1845 in Allentown, Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania and died Sept. 7, 1913 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Elizabeth Hirsch April 11, 1871 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky.
