Almina "Minnie" Ackerman, daughter of John Jacob Ackerman and Emaline Kibby, was born May 25, 1861 near Kirkwood, Warren Co., Illinois and died Jan. 25, 1931 in San Diego, San Diego Co., California. She married James Alexander Russell Dec. 23, 1885 at Villisca, Montgomery Co., Iowa.
