Densmore Columbus Fox, son of Rebecca Jane Woodward or Woodard and George Washington Fox, was born Aug. 21, 1897 in Snowball, Searcy Co., Arkansas and died Nov. 21, 1984 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Josephine Helen Stewart Foreman Nov. 23, 1951 in Nodaway Co., Missouri and 2) Gretchen Velva Lilley Cordell Jan. 12, 1970 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. Josephine Helen Stewart, daughter of David McCune Stewart and Katherine Elizabeth Bashore, was born Aug. 16, 1887 at Siam, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Dec. 11, 1966 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. Her 1st husband was Lloyd Clesson Foreman whom she married Jan. 15, 1907 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. Their daughter, Hilda Hortense, was born Sept. 2, 1908 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Nov. 4, 1997 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri.
