Newton Emmet Boyd, son of Alfred Boyd and Flora Adeline Crull, was born Mar. 30, 1906 at Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Nov. 13, 1957 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri. He married Katie Norene Anthony Feb. 28, 1928 at Red Oak, Montgomery Co., Iowa. She was born Dec. 19, 1910 at Elliott, Montgomery Co., Iowa, daughter of Willard L. Anthony and Emma Jane Noonan and died June 1, 1989 in Sigourney, Keokuk Co., Iowa.
