General Jackson Boling, son of Lewis Boling and Permelia Hughes, was born in April 1842 in Illinois and died Mar. 9, 1911 in Marshall Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. He was buried Mar. 11, 1911 in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Clarissa Calkin July 23, 1870 in Keokuk, Lee Co., Iowa.
