Simeon Bryan Beemer, son of Simeon Beemer and Alice Whitecotton, was born Sept. 27, 1896 near Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 25, 1988 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Ethel Smith Mar. 17, 1917 at Creston, Union Co., Iowa. She was born Mar. 17, 1901 at Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Charles R. Smith and Annie Laurie Hamblin, and died May 12,1983 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa.
