Martha Charlotte Besco, daughter of George Heinrich Besco and Margaret Lavinia Steele, was born Sept. 23, 1862 at Eddyville, Iowa and died June 5, 1948 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married William B. Allen Dec. 18, 1879 at Eddyville, Iowa.
