Sarah Jane Gray, daughter of Samuel Gray and Nancy Trotter, was born Jul 2, 1835 in Tennessee and died Aug. 24, 1917 near Pickering, Union Twp., Nodaway Co., Missouri. Missouri State Death Certificate and Death Records, Bedford Courthouse,Taylor Co., Iowa give her birth date as 1837. She married Thomas Willis Oct. 2, 1859 in Adams Co., Illinois.
