Joel Weeks, son of Ezekiel Weeks and Sarah Coppel, was born Feb. 8, 1851 in Brown Co., Ohio and died Jan. 3, 1935 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Almira Gordon Dec. 16, 1874 in Mason Co., Illinois. She was born Feb. 12, 1852 in Havana, Mason Co., Illinois, daughter of Uriah Gordon and Olive "Leva" Ann Bavington, and died May 18, 1929 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
