Maria Louisa Dowlin, daughter of Paul Dowlin and Mary Jane Stephenson, was born Aug. 9, 1850 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania and died Aug. 2, 1902 in Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Issac Morris Hewitt Dec. 14, 1871 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania. He was born Sept. 6, 1845 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania, son of Jacob and Rebecca Hewitt, and died May 24, 1914 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
