Charlotte Hitchens, daughter of Josiah Hitchens and Eleanor Floyd, was born June 2, 1847 in Pennsylvania and died Feb. 7, 1920 in Grant Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. She married 1) Richard E. Toy Dec. 23, 1864 at Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois and 2) William McDonnell Aug. 30, 1881 in Grant Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. Her obituary gives her birth date as 1844.
