David Swindel or Swindle (there are variant spellings of the last name) was born Mar. 25, 1852 in Ireland and died June 18, 1919 near Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. Source of birth and death information: Iowa, Deaths and Burials, 1850-1990. His brother, James, was born Oct. 1861 in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland and died before Mar. 1921 in Taylor Co., Iowa. They were the sons of William John and Martha Swindel.
