Frances Fern Fordyce, daughter of Arthur Bonar Fordyce and Rachel Bowers, was born Nov. 3, 1876 near Platteville, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 5, 1966 at Mt. Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa. She married Melbon Roscoe Brant Jan. 15, 1907 at Wichita,Sedgwick Co., Kansas.
