John Fordyce, son of Arthur Bonar Fordyce and Rachel Bowers, was born Mar. 24, 1867 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania and died Nov. 14, 1958 in Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Louvada Rinehart Sept. 2, 1913 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born May 2, 1873 near Waynesburg, Greene Co., Pennsylvania, daughter of Henry Porter Rinehart and Maria Bowers, and died Dec. 23, 1966 in Mt. Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa.
