James Alexander Cavner, son of William Henry Cavner and Margaret McNerney, was born April 2, 1871 southwest of Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa and died April 10, 1944 in Humeston, Wayne Co., Iowa. He married Cora Bell Stogsdill April 27, 1904.
