Richard was the son of Gustave Carl Ludwig Berger Von Lenguche and Johanna Catherine Louisa Pruter. After the death of his parents, he lived in an orphanage in Davenport, Iowa. He married Dorothea Paulson on 03 Aug 1904 in Arcadia, Ia. They were the parents of Alyce. Richard married Mrs Anna Memhardt on August 17, 1921.
