Susan Emeline "Emma" Hall, daughter of Nathan Parnik Hall and Permelia Criss Mathews, was born Oct. 17, 1853 near Chariton, Lucas Co., Iowa and died Sept. 5, 1940 in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska. She married Nelus P. Nelson Dec. 24, 1874 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
