Jarvis Lovitt, son of John Lovitt and Anna Clara Price, was born Dec. 20, 1825 in Muskingum Co., Ohio and died May 20, 1879 northeast of Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Sarah Naomi Cooksey Jan. 8,1852 in Muskingum Co., Ohio.
