Mabelle was the daughter of James A. Cartwright and Una A. Clawges. She married Wallace Carlson on 15 Jun 1905 in Bridgeport, Cheyenne, Nebraska. They were the parents of Laura, Claire, Maxine, Gretchen, Florence, and Mabelle.
